Michael Rieck, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Charmer Industries As Vice President, Michael leads both Suppliers' operations and programs, sales and marketing development, and channel management. Michael successfully designed and implemented PAM, as well as an innovative two-tiered sales concept and using an innovative segmentation approach to the discipline. Implementing information systems for sales analysis as well as business systems to develop the human capital of the Charmer sales culture have been major contributions of Mr. Rieck to the overall success of the firm.
Michael's winning sales planning philosophy emerged from experiencing the days of the "fire drill" methods to a refined, planned approach of long-range programming with a heavy emphasis on qualitative achievement, focused on quality service, and results for all constituencies of the Charmer family.
Michael has served as Vice President of Sales, Standard Wine & Liquor for Schieffelin & Somerset Co. as General Sales Manager, PAM Division On-Premise; as both Metro and State Managers and Account Development Manager. Previously, Mr. Rieck worked in sales (Main Line), Southern Wines & Spirits in Pennsylvania. Prior Michael spent over five years in the hotel and restaurant industry and today is a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) candidate at the University of Connecticut.
Michael and his wife Beth Ann divide their time between New York City and Stamford, Connecticut, but if this accomplished executive has spare time, you most often will find him on a golf course. His children Alexander, a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh, and Theresa, a high school junior, know he also enjoys cooking, chess, playing guitar and an avid reader of historical literature.
